One of the key factors in the continued success of Catax Ltd is the controlled way in which we have grown the business and service through the careful selection and recruitment of suitable drivers.
We are well aware that knowledgable, helpful and well turned out drivers provide the most effective self promotion that we could hope for, and that this will continue to be the case. Panther Taxis have well developed policies that govern driver and vehicle cleanliness as well as rules governing service standards and fares that drivers are expected to adhere to. A formal disciplinary policy ensures that lapses in expected standards are dealt with quickly and effectively.
We are constantly seeking new drivers who are willing to match our own high standards, and we offer the opportunity of a gratifying and interesting way of making a living. Hours of work are entirely flexible and excellent financial rewards are able to be gained by those who work well within a self employed domain.
Before commencing work as a driver candidates must become licensed through Tandridge District Council. This process involves undertaking things such as a medical, driving test, knowledge test and Criminal Records Bureau check and can take a number of weeks. Contact numbers for the above-mentioned authorities are supplied below and should be used to obtain initial application forms.
Catax offer a comprehensive service for the would-be driver that covers help and advice on obtaining a licence right through to the purchase, equiping and licensing of a suitable vehicle. All drivers receive exhaustive training on how to use our despatch system, as well as hints and advice to help them through their first few shifts. Training is also given on expected standards of service. All this is offered through our Operations Team who can be contacted via this site or on 01883 345151, to arrange an initial, informal interview.
To compliment the above we are able to offer fully comprehensive Hire and Reward insurance to qualifying drivers through our fleet policy, and all vehicle fittings, including the supply of a relevant taxi meter, making us a stop shop for the requirements of anyone entering the trade with Catax.
